Failed Armbar? Level Up To A BICEP SLICER!
Mar 23, 2021Not everything will work for you immediately in Jiu-Jitsu. Sometimes, you'll go for a submission, and everything will seem right... But you simply won't be able to finish it.
Be it because you're lacking some knowledge, because you didn't drill enough, or because your opponent is defending well – the point is, you just can't get them to tap out!
For example, your opponents will often defend against the Armbar by clasping their hands together tightly. So, instead of trying to muscle that Armbar finish (if you don't know how to break their grips), you can switch to a Bicep Slicer!
